A number of us from the poetry writers group that meets at the Norwich VT Public Library gathered yesterday in Sharon VT. The day was hot, flowers were blooming, and words were spinning. We were filmed for a show due to be broadcast on our local community access TV, CATV. Luckily I didn’t throw out my TV yet, just mothballed it. I’m going to want to view this show!
took a Miksang contemplative class at the Shambhala Center in Burlington VT and now can ’see’ things a bit more perceptively. Miksang photography sometimes feels like poetry which is difficult to describe as an activity, but fun and heart opening to do.
Obama wins big in little Vermont, population 623,908. Vermont, known for it’s maple syrup and beautiful green mountains helps to move Obama forward on his journey to Pennsylvania Ave. Way to go Vermonters!

You titled this post what? These oxen are strolling around the South Pomfret VT street fair for a betting game that will benefit the local library.
Note the pink poster held by someone in the photo. The poster is divided into a grid. You place your bet on as many squares as you wish to purchase. The oxen are placed into a pen that has the ground painted into a grid that matches the betting poster grid. The winner in this 50/50 split game is the person whose matching purchased grid spot gets plopped on first by an ox!
